Behind RANOR
RANOR Art Gallery was born in 2026 in Canada from a shared vision between an architect and a visual artist. We are a contemporary gallery that believes art is not only seen — it is thought.
Our Story
Where thought meets beauty.
RANOR Art Gallery was born in 2026 in Canada from a shared vision that blends the structural perspective of architect Ihab Zaid with the artistic sensibility of visual artist Randa Hijazi — a place where thought meets beauty, and art becomes a space for reflection, questioning, and reinterpreting reality.
RANOR operates on the belief that contemporary art is not just a visual experience but an intellectual and human act that raises questions beyond the surface, touching the complexities of both individuals and society. Here, ready-made answers are not offered; instead, spaces for dialogue, awareness, and reconsideration of what we take for granted are opened.
The gallery celebrates both emerging and established artists whose works carry deep thought, a unique vision, and strong artistic execution. It provides a platform that nurtures authentic artistic experiences, giving them room to express, evolve, and engage with an audience that seeks meaning as much as beauty.
Our vision centers on contemporary works from diverse directions and art schools, exploring the dimensions of the human mind and subconscious. We pay particular attention to the creation of "characters" as symbolic entities that go beyond mere form, becoming embodiments of psychological states, existential questions, and inner tensions — figures that pulse with ideas and mirror the human experience in all its contradictions and complexities.
The gallery's role extends beyond exhibitions, encompassing artistic projects, cultural collaborations, and initiatives aimed at fostering intellectual exchange and creative experimentation. It is more than a display space; it is a vibrant environment where art meets thought, vision meets experience, and the artist meets dialogue.
RANOR is an open space for reimagining reality, where artworks transform into platforms for reflection, inquiry, and the discovery of new possibilities for meaning.

Ihab Zaid
Managing Owner
Architect by training, Ihab Zaid brings to RANOR a structural perspective on the experience of art — how space, light, and proportion shape the encounter with a work.
His collaboration with visual artist Randa Hijazi founded the gallery in 2026 on a shared belief that contemporary art is, at its core, an intellectual and human inquiry.
